The PO of my truck said the brakes were from an F350, they are dual piston and the truck stops quite well.

However, when I bought 16" aluminum wheels for it, they would not fit- it hit the caliper. The 16.5 steelies were fine.

I ended up with 17s. So- be careful when installing the wheels.

FlatbedFord,

Good posting man

Do the tie rods seem the same easy "bolt-in" too?

Thanks in advance!

You use the existing tie rods. The brackets bolt to your spindle. I'll take pictures tomorrow.

It's tomorrow... where are the pictures?? ;)

So if I am reading this correctly..... the "dentside" 250's and 350's rotors and calipers will bolt directly to the bumpside spindles?

Can't help you with the wheels part. I'm dealing with a dually here.

Sorry I didn't include more pics of the hub together. I'd already put the '67 frame on the '70 to head to the scrapper. There will be better pics when I actually do the conversion. When ever that is.....

Don't know. I will say that the caliper setup looks the same as my '83 F250 4X4 did. I know that my '83 had a totally different front suspension than the older trucks, but I've also noticed that Ford trucks seem to use the same or at least very similar components over many years.

We did use the same parts with minor changes across many years. The F100 and F150 changed more to get lighter but the 250s and 350s changed more for reliability under full load than for weight savings and mileage.
