These are the sizes listed for my truck (1970 crewcab shortbox)
qty (4) 1/2" 13 x 3 1/2 carriage
qty (2) 1/2" 13 x 2 3/4 carriage
qty (2) 1/2" 13 x 1 1/4 reg. bolt
------------------------------------------------------------------------
front of box position 1 (carriage) use the 3 1/2 length x2
next back postion 2 (carriage) use the 2 3/4 length x2
next back position 3 (carriage) use the 3 1/2 length x2
last position rear most (bolts from the underside) use the 1 1/4 length
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
hope this helps. I would imagine them to be the same

Those figures are correct with what I have on my 71 SWB.

Thanks!

I looked at LMC Truck catalog today and they show the hardware ala cart but dont give dimensions, and its not clear if its hardened or just regular hardware store grade stuff. I read somewhere else that regular hardware might snap in an accident or exceptionally heavy load and could lead to bigger trouble.

I think Tractor Supply has hardened carriage bolts, and will take a look this weekend.

You might check with Totally Stainless and AMK as well.

I got the LMC bolts I ordered, grade 3 markings on the heads. Better than the stuff at the Orange hardware place, but I was hoping for something stronger. Will try my buddies at Tractor (Ford) Supply tomorrow.
