Hey Russ, welcome to the forum. Nice collection of vehicles, especially the Jag. Stop by the Welcome Mat and introduce yourself and be sure to include pictures of your collection. I am not sure what you are asking, but Ford had a tubular bumper option for the rear on the first gen Lightning. :thup:

get some well casing and weld caps on the ends and weld on some mounts. then paint and install.

:yt: You could also make the caps removable and store a chain in it. Have never seen it but was told about someone making an air tank out of a bumper. May not have been true though.

they have rear bumper made to hold air.

They have full tube buggies that are joint drilled as they are assembled so the frame can act as an air storage tank.

i have made and had several with tube bumpers, minimum should be 4 inch pipe with caps welded on the ends.
