cab lift

Post by splavin90 »

how do i take my cab off of my frame?

today i took the front clip off of my frame, and now i am wondering how to take the cab off.

i know that there are 2 mounts in the front of the cab underneath it, but it seems like when i use a wrench on it, the bolt just spins, i had to use a 24 inch breaker bar to get it to move at all.

good luck with loosening the bolts.i use a torch to get them off.before i had the torch i used the sawzall.
i have only loosened and removed a handful out of many with hand operated wrenches.

you can ford a river or stream and get to the other side, if you dodge it you will not, and if you drive a chevy to the levee it will run dry and the music will die.

remove the inspection plate and use a backup wrench on the bolt head. the other two cab mount bolts are under the in cab fuel tank.
