rusty cab mounts

Post by 69bumptruck »

Well, I took my cab off the frame today and found more rust than I expected. The driver's side cab mount needs completely replaced. And the brace on the back cab mounts has rust on the driver's side also. I have no welding skills, nor do I have a welder. How much do you guys think this would cost to repair? I think it's salvageable.

If you get the right guy maybe $50.00 and a case of beer.

Maybe if we traded beer worldwide, we could finally achieve world peace?

those are not bad compared to some i have seen.
i bought a wire welder just for things like that.if you were close i would come by and help, but you should be able to find someone nearby to do it for a reasonable price.

you can ford a river or stream and get to the other side, if you dodge it you will not, and if you drive a chevy to the levee it will run dry and the music will die.
