Glad you made it home safe. I tried to talk Mrs. 71 LONG BED into having the Brats tonight, but she wouldn't budge. Maybe this weekend.
I was going to call, but I figured you were pretty whipped from the ride. Thanks for checking in and letting us know you made it in safely. I'll give you a land line in a few days to catch up.

two-bit,
Glad you and dad made it home safely. Mrs. Flatbedford and I were glad to meet you. I did wait until I got home, but the Rhinelander was just as I remembered it.
The old truck survived more than an hour of sustained 55-60 mph on the way home. It still had oil in it when I checked this morning. It only went down about 1/8" on the dipstick and I drove about 150 miles yesterday. Used a lot of gas though.

Looks to me like cab lights were mandatory but beds are optional. Thats how you can tell it was an east coast mng, we dont need no stinking beds, we'll make one . Cool thread guys.
Sorry, I missed it, been laid off a little bit here. At least now I know I don't need a "california" (finished) truck to show up.
I may need runnin lights though

Hats off to you guys for making it work. That's the difference with this bunch in general I think. We all pretty much consider each other friends that just haven't met yet. Neat pictures!
I like seeing the trucks and their owners all in the same picture with descriptions.
