70 f250 side trim molding

Post by georgeiiv »

Is there a way to put the side trim molding on the side of the bed without the clips? as you can see, all the clips are broken and I dont even know where to buy them from.

Go to the LINKS & RESOURCES page and order or download catalogs from the first seven vendors listed on that page. Virtually all of them carry those clips.

Both sides in one package? Not too bad a price. considering new chrome is 600.00 a side.

Nope they shure aren't. But Remember Loves Labor. I would gladly fork 40k to rebuild one 1967-1972 F-series truck. Before i bought the same priced '07 f-series.

:yt: I hate the fact that everything made today is made to break. Seems like they start breaking down right after the waranty wears off. Maybe it's just me.

No, it's not just you. They do make things with a limited life nowadays. That's so they can sell you new stuff and make more money.
It's a racket they have going. :x

Yeah I know the reasoning behind it. Not sure if it's true or not but I have heard that they have built engines that are close to indestructible back in the day but they had to find a way to make parts wear more for obvious reasons.
