has anybody ever replaced a whole cab floor cab mounts and all

The "whole floor"??? Not me or anyone I know.What I do know, thanks to rust, is that you have to be careful when welding and finishing the floor. Otherwise, rust and corrosion will attack the new sheet metal.

i hear of alot of people just replacing the cab i know that might be easyer ,,,,,but i want to keep my old cab and try to replace the floor someday

i seen one that had been done preety much in patches. they done a real good job of it. i'm not sure how they got all the metal to lay in that good but they did. and then they riveted it in place over the existing rusted out floor though.

Yup. I replaced both floor pans, the cab mounts , and the frame brackets on the '68.
I still have the cab mounts and frame brackets.
The rest of the cab was cut up and hauled to the scrap yard.
