-another 67-only pc. is the vent window frame.
-been going round and round trying to replace my 67 vent window frame. mine had blistering rust. I finally got a frame from a 68-72 with the diff handle so I thought Id just switch the 67 handle onto it. No can do. The handle pivot location on the 68-72 frame is forward of that on the 67.
Thought Id add this to the list of "67-only parts".

Thanks. It was the left side.
The one I bought on ebay was a 67, but tinted. Then thinking I can just switch the handle, I bought another - not tinted. Then found out you cant switch the handle between the 67 and 68-72.

Hmmm......don't think I ever noticed that, not that I was ever actually looking. I noted that the frames will interchange as an assembly, but never gave a thought to the possibility of them actually being different. I've got both at the shop, I'll have to look into that myself and get some pics.
Thanks for the heads-up!

Are there no places that sell repro vent frames for the '67?? I've looked, but have not found them yet. The one on my passenger side is pretty rusted out. Drivers side may be salvagable.
If not, I guess I'll have to start looking for them, or am I to understand I can swap with a later model but would also have to replace the handles?
