That's hard to say without a sonic check. I've seen one that was pretty thin with only a .030" overbore. It's best to bore as little as possible, just enough to clean it up. The problem is core shift and you don't know how much unless you have the block checked. Without going out on a limb, I would say .030" "should" be ok. Big overbores don't buy you much in the power department because the thin walls distort and cause blowby and rob whatever increase you were looking for. Thicker walls promote better ring seal.

Just thought I'd also point out, that a 360/390/410 are all the same block with the same bore. So if you are wanting to enlarge it, a 390 crank will make it a 390 and a 428 crank will make it a 410. You would also need the appropriate pistons and 390 type rods are much preferable.

I dont know where in Texas you are but I'm at Fort Hood and if you looking for a new FE I'm about to take mine out and put the New Stroker in..
The FE I have has about 1700 miles on it.
