step bars for our bumpsides

Post by cjs_72f250 »

sorry if this has been asked before, but i couldn't find a topic on it. do you guys know what are good step bars for our bumpsides? and which ones are fairly easy to install?

i keep seeing other bumps drive by me with step bars and i'd like to add them to my truck. especially if i decide to lift the truck a few inches eventually.

might these work even though it's not specific for Ford? JC Whitney Step Bars

thanks

I've always called them "stump catchers". I'm pretty sure they'd fit just fine, look sharp too. Just watch out for "stumps".

i've got a pair off of an older dodge two door that i'm trying to adapt... I'll post pics if all goes well. Sadly it looks like i'm going to have to do some welding. I was hoping for straight bolt on.

I have some 85' and a set of 95' ford bars I will be trying to fit.. just thinking shim one of them out because of the frame width difference and should work, in theory :D
