side window

I ordered the drivers side window and channel rubber from LMC for my
71 F100 yesterday. Should receive it in a day or two. Anyone got any
tips-advice on installing? I've never put in any glass and was wondering if you had to take off the window regulator or not. I'm assuming it would be easier to take the regulator off, but don't know. Walk me though this, please.

the regulator doesn't have to come off.

The regulator has to come off to get the glass out.

i never had to. just to do a repair. but when i have stripped a door i guess i have taken the regulator out first. i was wrong.

Thanks, guys. I was looking at that page to get on idea on the window. With my luck I probably should have ordered 2.

Now I just need some warmer weather (or a shop!) Thanks!

oh you know what i was thinking of the vent window. no wonder i was thinking the rgulator could be left in there. homer says duh!
