frame drawing...

Post by layedout72 »

Alright, once my motor is back together and finished how I so desire, this is the next project. I am getting the rails bent at art morrison I believe, so I don't have to worry with local guys. Its not finished, and crossmembers and random supports that need to be added (along with driveshaft loop) will be done on the final design, when its actually being built. The hump in the middle is the start of one, its obviously in the wrong spot, the frame rails are to spec, not REALLY sure about everything else, as obviously the axle can clear a couple more inches, but thats where it is staying for the drawing.

probably a three link to be honest with you. more options to do a custom upper that way. It may cost a penny, but as long as I have the rails and mock up crossmembers, I can get the body mounts measured out and all, so it will be done over time.

I would leave the bed open to show off that rear suspension if it's going to look like your drawing.

I am working on the front shock mount's right now and that should be the last major welding I will do to the frame, after that I can disassemble the truck to paint the frame and do some measuring for you guy's.
