por-15 brushed on...

Post by layedout72 »

Does anyone have pics of por-15 that has been brushed on, preferably a motor? I am looking at doing this as my motor is getting dipped today, and hopefully machined this weekend. I am just worried about streaking because of the bristles but I have heard it shouldn't streak if done right. Any help is appreciated.

I have never used it myself. I know that if I am concerned about streaking when I can not spray, I try to use a sponge applicator. Just a thought.

they sell the kit (the engine one) with the brushes already with it. Im guessing they wouldn't do this if it flawed the finish? Not real sure, going to email a tech rep a little later.

I'm sure with several coats and as coarse as a block is the stroke marks want be noticeable, but patience will be the difference.
