You have a New gas filler neck gromet.....
While junking out your 76-79 trucks for the disc brake change over and various other parts (rear ends, motors, etc), open the gas door and you will find your "new" gas filler neck gromet inside, protected from the elements. Its a little more low profile and has a Ford oval on it. It fits and looks great.

Cut ( FOUR ) pieces of an old ford truck frame that has been junked, fit them to the inside of your good frame, add weld and bolts, the leafs are now inboard, time for the (big WIDE tires)!
