I should have taken mine to the bodyshop for the floorpan install. I was sore for three days after spending the weekend wallerin around in the floor of the truck welding them in. I guess a mig welder would be faster. I welded mine with oxy-cetyline I was also wondering what would be a coating.

Hey those look pretty good! Looks like he did a good job, and I think that's a fair price, too.

I'm planning on using the roll-on bedliner for the floorpans in my cab...which is actually the next thing on the agenda. I'm seriously considering trying that stuff on the bottom side of the floorpans too, as well as the outer firewall.

Here's a couple of photos of mine with the roll-on Herculiner product. The stuff is advertised as durable and long lasting and I mght add that this holds true for the stuff that remains on your hands, arms and face.

I sprayed a tintable bed coating on my floorboards before I started laying insulation. This way you can match your paint.http://www.fordification.com/galleries/ ... p?pos=-809

I ordered 3 rolls of dual sided mat from Jegs for $114. It was enough to complete the entire cab including the top and behind the seat.http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ ... rmenbr=361

That looks real good Jor! I've been thinking about doing the same thing for mine. I'm such a pig I can't be trusted with carpet, and besides it would be nice to be able to just hose out my cab

I guess I'll get some of that. Is that the stuff they have at the partshouses? And you roll it on with a roller? :hmm:

Question for Jor or anyone who knows. As in Jor's photo the black extends into the lower door openings is this correct? my truck is the same way in the front and rear jambs but I thought one of the previous owners sprayed this in? Jor it looks great but haven't seen another truck with the lower jambs black like that. I have always wondered about this?
