new inner fender

i just shelled out 226.00 for a new pasenger side inner fender,,,,has anybody ever bought one from dennis carpenter

how is the quality and does it fit right

I got a reproduction inner fender off E-bay about a year ago, though I'm not sure who it was manufactured by. The one I had will work just fine, but was noticeably of thinner-gauge steel than an OEM piece. I also had to drill one hole where it mounts up to the radiator support.

I got a reproduction and an NOS from D-C, the reproduction was actually better because it was E-Coted.

The NOS one was bare oiled steel, my painter was NOT happy...

E-Cote is electrostatic primer/corrosion protection. It is what makes most (all?) new body panels a semi flat black color.
