Can someone help me out on Id's of the electrical Components in this 1967 , 460 ,n0 air , auto , and the location of them also.
I have what looks like a power filter on the back of the Instrument cluster , and no way to get name or both ends of the connection .
Im a sparky for a living and this diagram is really put together by some " design guru " that had one to many at lunch that day.
Thanks for the help ![img]

Hi! and
to the site!
that should be the instrument voltage reducer your looking at.
here is a breakdown on the panel.

In life many men take the path of righteousness, some take the path many others follow (G.M. owners, for example), some take a more arduous path, some a simpler path. I, sir, took the PSYCO-PATH!!

That IPVR reduces the 12V down to a 5V pulse for the gauges. Do a search here for 'IPVR' and you'll see it's been discussed many times. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

re: Conponents
To be technical
, it puts out 12 volt pulses that averages out to 5 volts over time.
As an example, a 12 volt square wave with a 50% duty cycle would be equivalent to 6 volts.
