I am looking for a book or an online web site that has detailed information on these carbs .
The one site that has been the most helpful is http://home.earthlink.net/~bubbaf250/index.html
Basically I am looking for factory literature or something along those lines !!
Anyone with 2100/2150 carb info?

Did you follow the links to this site?

Its for a jeep, but at a glance looks pretty detailed. try a yahoo or google search.
I just rebuilt mine with a friend tonight. not to bad, way simpler than a Holley. I had a sorenson rebuild kit, about $15. Good luck.

Thanks guys for the links they are very helpful !
I just went back to a 2150 from a holley 350cfm 2bb.
I got the 2150 off of ebay and I am very happy with it (after a $21.00 rebuild kit and $60.00 in choke t-stat and choke pull-off.
I was having trouble with the fast idle and what I is that the choke just cools off a lot faster then the engine so I had to lean out the choke a little -seems to work better .
I have the newer style 2150 with the variable high speed air bleed system which from what I have read is the better system . thanks again

If I remember correctly that's one of the reasons for the heater hose clamped against the side of the choke, to keep it from cooling off too fast and causing an overrich condition on startup.

You are 100% correct in fact that is my next quest on ebay -to find that bracket .
I have the hot air portion of the choke system hooked up also so warm up isnt that long .
The '74 240 that I have has only the hot air choke and I think it works the quickest out of all of the systems, but it too is plaged by cooling down too fast .
