JCW vs Dennis Carpenter vs LMC......

Post by waynaferd »

As far as repair panels (mostly floor pans and supports), is the quality between the 3 close? I know Dennis Carpenter uses "original ford tooling" which doesn't much matter to me, but is that why the prices are so much higher than LMC and JC Whitney? Or is it made of thicker metal and will last longer/work better?

Any othe rplaces to find good replacement parts?

Thanks!!

Dennis Carpenter is the only one of the three that sells the original style cab mounts. They are worth it though. As far as floor pans, I got mine from LMC and they had Carpenter stickers on them!

I agree the cab mounts from D/c are much better a better fit and stronger especially at the firewall area.
