re: front end removal steps
When I took mine apart a couple months ago all i used was a craftsman 3/8 ratchet and some wd-40. It took some elbow grease but got the job done. I wish I'd known what pb blaster was at the time.

re: front end removal steps
the last core support i took off i had to cut one of them off because the head of the bolt was stripped. i used a sawzall and cut the nut off at the washer. the other side came off after some pb blaster soaking for a few days.

Ya a sawzall with a bicutting blade would work very nicely. Go in between the mount and core. If you can get any gap in it. If not cut the head of the bolt off. Just another thought get a small cheater pipe about 2' long using it from below. I still would use a 1/2 ratchet set for this operation 3/8 would work but you can get more torque on the 1/2 set.

If you don't have the right tools and would prefer to have it done, get someone to cut the bolts off with a torch. Replace them with something temporary to drive it home and you're in business. Good luck.

Re: re: front end removal steps
Divide 18 by 25.4 to get standard. Any metric number divided by 25.4 converts to standard, and any standard decimal number multiplied by 25.4 converts to metric.layedout72 wrote: if anyone can tell me what an 18 converts to "american", it would prolly help a little if I have to go and BUY something to get them off.
Example: 18 divided by 25.4 = .708
.708 times 25.4 = 18
Hope this helps.
