How do you cut Stainless Steel brake and/or gas lines?
For those that have done their own stainless steel lines, how did you cut the line? In Line tube recommends that you do NOT use a reugular tubing cutter / Randy B.

Im a plumber so i know the answer to this question. You cant use regular tubing cutters, because they are made to cut soft metal tubing such as copper. The cutting wheel is made of a soft metal, not sure what metal but its not steel. they make steel cutting wheels and make cutters already set up with these wheels, but they are twice the cost than regular cutters. You probably could use a regular pair of tubing cutters but be ready to replace the cutting wheels after the first or second cut... thats if the wheel doesnt break too.recommend RIGID cutters in my trade these are the best cutters that hold up the longest. and the wheels are readily available.

hoosker do's hoosker dont's with or without the scooter stick
