I'm just gonna change all the fluids, plow the driveway this winter and haul some firewood, then if I can finish my Dodge truck this winter, start tinkering on this come spring.
It's old enough so in Maine I can register it as an antique as long as I don't drive it everyday, and that means no inspection, and that *hopefully* means I won't be stuck with a max of 4" susp and 33's according to the lame lift laws.
So the plans are to rebuild a 76 360 with either 390 or 428 innards, lift it 6 or so inches, run 38's, and make it look pretty. I also plan on a disc brake swap on the D-60 with chevy discs and stuff, and other than that keep it ( body and interior, anyway) as original as possible, just funner.
But first I gotta get it home!! Oh, and my buddy sold it to me for $1,400, but was asking $2,000.
