Frame ID

Post by rsjohnsn »

I have a frame that has disc brakes on it but I don't know what year it is. Can someone tell me where the numbers are on the frame? I want to make sure for the disc brake conversion onto my '68.

I know this next subject is going to upset the purest but I am going to lower it as well. I know about the dropped beams but I want others opinions on which is better for fit, finish, and strength. Also what is the best option for lowering the rear? Sorry guys but I like 'em low!
