Hey, can ya'll help an EFI generation kid with some links to duraspark info? Wanna learn whats in the older rigs.

If I remember right, black and green are the older units, blue is the most common, red is CA only, white has a crank retard, yellow is the dual-mode with a run retard, there's another one I can't remember right now.

is there a specific coil to be used with the red module ?

FWIW I wouldn't use an aftermarket box, only an original duraspark or Motorcraft replacement. None of the O'Napa Zone Boys ones are up to oem standards.
