shipping cost
I have a good np435 tranny I might put up for auction, any know what shipping cost on an item like this might be, I do know the farther it goes the more it cost, and I'm not really sure if anyone would b interested in it. by the way all proceeds would go to the site.

re: shipping cost
you'll probably have to go with ups. its by wieght and size of box. take a piece of osb or plywood the same size as the tranny and wire it to the trans. then put the whole thing in a box and take it to ups or fedex and check the shipping cost to newyork and los angeles. and that should give you a good idea on the average cost. ups and fed ex wont take anything over 150 pounds.

UPS will take it over 150 lbs, but it goes freight.
Same with Fed-ex. I don't know what class it would be, though. You'd have to call them and ask them

NP435's are all long throw wide ratio (AFAIK)
Tim P.,
yep its a top-loader, but you might be confusing it with a car-style top-loader (2 different animals)

nope, can't be done. the truck trannys are WAY bigger cases than the car cases anyways.
again, 2 different animals.
Tim, your going to have to find a 4 speed from a car to get what you want, sorry.
