Will a bumper from 1974 1/2 ton fit on a 67?

front bumper i think so. the rear bumper is going to mount differently or not at all beacause of the frame differeance in the model years of the 67-72 versus 73-79

The front bumpers are identical from '67-'77. The '78-'79 front bumper will also bolt on, but they're a little different cosmetically. The rear bumpers will be different, as fordman stated, due to the wider framerails. However, since the factory Highboys up through '77-1/2 also had the narrow framerails, those rear bumpers should fit our trucks.

step bumper

Post by Jerry1256 »

Ok, since I can not find an original step bumper for my 68 camper Special I am forced to use a replacement bumper :x
I think they look too "new" for my truck but...
Has anyone mounted one of these Diamond plate step bumpers?
Wondering how they look , do they have the lip like the old ones?
I would like to see some pictures of one of them mopunted before I shell out close to $400.00 for one. Anyone know the Cheapest place to purchase one in Western Canada? Or does anyone have an original they would like to part with :D
