79 steering column wiring to 65
hi and thanks for the help on swapping out man to power steering but if anyone can help in wiring colunm of a 1979 onto a 65 it would really be apperciated

I don't Know if this will help because we're dealing w/ different years. I used a 75 column in my 68 and simply reused my 68 harness and it works like a champ. But I cut the wiring near the plug on both column's, pulled the wiring up through the top. Then electrical taped the wires from my old column together so that I could snake them back down the new column. Then I just soldered and used heat shrink tubing to put my old plug back on at the base, and I was good to go.
