Bushwacker Fender Flares
Anyone know the fenderwell differences between the 72 and the 73 and newer trucks? I see I can get flares for the 73 and newer and was wondering what the differences are in the trucks. I have looked my 72 over pretty well and tried to remember the differences when looking at the newer truck but cannot really see much any. Thanks for your help....Dave

Yeah that is mine also. I was given that by my uncle who farms up in Sandy Oregon and he knew I liked the truck. After rebuilding his old funace for him, he gave the truck to me. It has the flathead engine which runs pretty well but the truck needs tires as they are dry rotted so I can get it to my mothers house aproximately 40 miles away. There I could make it more road worthy for the trip up to Washington. Obviously needs restored......Dave

I want to find just a nice COE cab and put it on a newer motorhome chassis for a hotrod hauler. I think they are just the nuts.

That is very similar to what I wanted to do to it. I have a couple projects to finish in front of this one but I did get the title changed to my name so like I said, its just a matter of figuring out how to move it from his place. Either I will drive it or haul it to get it to my place but for the mean time, I need to get it to my mom's house. Takes quite a trailer and truck to trailer it anywhere but I will get it somehow. A buddy suggests that I cut it up into pieces (the frame) and haul it out of there in pieces but I think that would break my uncles heart. He and my grandfather have had that truck since 1964 (last time it had tabs on it) and I just don't want to take it out of there that way. I also just picked up a 1939 International pickup that adds to the "things to do" list for my future. Oh well, I'll get to both one of these days.

Not as of yet but I will here hopefully by the end of this upcoming weekend. We have a swap meet this weekend to go check out on Saturday plus the local drag strip is holding their ETI (inspections) this weekend. The guy I bought the truck from still has a MG and sailboat to move out of the way which he said would be done by this weekend. So I hope to drag it home this weekend if all works out right. Greg (heep70) has a get together planned as well I would like to go to. But I will post pictures of it with all the others I currently have posted as soon as I can.....Dave
