C6-not shifting properly

Post by fourtss »

okay, I just put my c6 in my truck today, it's not shifting right, it won't shift thru the gears but it will shift manually, I took it out of one truck put it in another, with the same engine and  it won't work right any suggestions?

mine acted like that after I changed the fluid. I just ran it a couple days and it must have bled itself out.

did this happen all at once or did it slowly get worse? The advances may not be connected, you may need a new modulator valve..thats all I can think of...

It sounds like a kick down linkage problem to me.

Try unhooking the kickdown rod and see if it shifts normally. If it does the kickdown linkage is the problem.
