ok i just have a question....everytime i'm under my truck there is some sort of cover that covers the metal ( i think to limit metal+natural oxidtives contact) is there a way to replce that stuff?

you must be talking about undercoating. yea you can scrap it all off and reapply it. most people now days are using por15 as there undercoating because it is made to stick to rusty metal. that why your original undercoating is coming off. is because it was only made to stick to new metal. my truck is the same way. my undercoating is starting to peel.
