Need some expert help
I have the back glass (one pc. no slide) out of my 70 XLT. I ordered a new rubber seal from Dennis Carpenter and if you put the rubber around the window the rubber is 3" larger than the window. My window has the chrome that inserts into the rubber seal. I have had my friend that has put in hundreds of windows try to put it in and he can't do it either. I called DC and they said the rubber should measure 128 inches, which it does. Does anyone have suggestions?

I would send it back to DC and get my money back and try another one from some one else. I got mine from DC and it fit fine on the new sliding window we installed.

Well I finally got it in. I had to take it to a glass professional and he had one heck of a time getting it in. They also told me if I broke the front windshield to take it somewhere esle. I guess the chrome on those windows makes it really tough to get in.
