Hood cowls
Does any one make steel cowls to weld on to a hood. I know harwood makes the fiberglass? I am determined to have a cowl induction hood on my 72. I have heard about members using the fiberglass but I think it's just going to break off a steel hood in time.

If you channel set the fiber glass cowl with 3/M automix 83 series adhesive it will never come loose. It's not to hard. Cut out your cowl opening, make a base or ledge for the fiberglass to sit on with panel crimping pliers and glue it up. Panel crimping pliers are designed to make a step down ledge so to surface is flush when the two peices are over lapped. I outta take some pics because this process makes cab corner replacement a one day job with out a welder.
