1967 F100 Stepside Shortbox

Will a '78-'79 grille fit on a 67? I want to make a custom grille using a hexagon mesh and found a 78 grille shell that will give me the room to use that and give my 67 the square front look. I was just wonderin if someone could tell me if the 78 grille will fit on a 67. Any info on the matter would be appreciated. thanks
