anyone cut the firewall?

Has anyone cut there firewall, is it one layer of metal or multiple with space inbetween both layers or?

Todd - WOW!!.... g-r-e-a-t project!... That's a beautiful crewcab you've got there!!

I'm putting the V-10 into my effie...it'll require re-working the firewall (and lots of other things).

I've already cut mine a little for starters.... I see only one panel there....

Yea, I will be hacking the firewall also just wanted some forewarning on what is there/not there. I plan to put the 95' whole brake system in and will be trying to put the whole heater core and turn temperature controls in out of the 95' What trans does that V10 use? Are you having auto on the column, manual or? Mine will be the E40D with a column shift (thinking flaming river column)?
