I have read somewhere that GM full size van columns fit in our trucks. They are apparently the right length. Lots of old conversion vans in the junk yards, with tilt usually.
Anyone know anything about this swap? Other than the wiring, and the immediate need to swap the wheel to get rid of that "emblem", any other issues involved? I wonder how the end would mate to the rag joint/flex coupling?

Anyone got an article or write up on this? Or do I have to be the guinea pig?

I've never heard about that, but with the proper application of time and money you can make about anything fit. Go for it...just take lots of notes and lots of pics and share 'em with us when you're done. ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

I would like to do it, but I have to many other things to sort out on this truck. I'll leave it for someone else. Maybe after I get it running I'll take a shot at it.
