Hi everyone i hope your sunday is going good....ok heres my problem i was changing the wheel cylinder on my front left wheel yesterday and was having trobles removing the hose from the old cylinder....so i just took the entire old hose and wheel cylinder :( but i broke the old brake line tube stuff (that cooper tubing stuff that is easy to bend)........The old line is so worn and torn that i can't it undone where it connects into that little box (look at picture)........ what do i need to get to remove the old line........and what size of the tube do i need?

Ideally you should use a special line wrench specifically designed for those kinds of nuts on fuel and brake lines. It's got an extra side (flat) on it for gripping power without rounding off the nut.

However, since you've already destroyed the line (if I'm understanding you correctly), you can just use a pair of ViceGrips to remove that nut. Then you'll need a length of 3/16" steel brakeline (yes, steel...it's not copper) and a replacement nut, available at any auto parts store.

lol i know its not copper........it was the fact it was easy to bend made me think of copper...... are all the replacement nuts the same size?

Just get the correct similar nuts for your 3/16" line and you'll be fine.
