Another lowered truck/disc conversion ?
If I decide to use a 73-77 to do the conversion if I buy aftermarket I-beams I will have to buy them for a 73-77 or what? I'm just trying to figure out what is going to be the best option and not run around in a circle. So break this down Barney style so I don't screw up. Thanks in advance!!!

That is what I was thinking, but I just wanted to ask before I done it. I still can't decide what is easier a used setup and replace all the old parts or a new set up and just bolt it on.

I was just looking at DJm susp and thinking of doing a 3/4 kit with the i-beams and a conversion off of a later model. Too many decisions to choose from. Those beams are awful pricey, but it sure would look good.

Yeah I just read the pm and I can lower the rear with different options. Thanks.SmokeyBear wrote:You don't have to buy the whole kit all you need is the beams and new kingpins.

From what Smokey Bear has told me and I have read the beams give you 3 inches and you can get up to 2 inches out of cutting the coils before you get teh camber isssue.
