Disc brakes

Post by theskytoucher »

Im doing a Disc Brake Conv. on my 68 F-100. I was wondering if I am going to need to change the master Cylinder. If it makes a difference im also going to put an ajustable proportioning valve into the system. Thanks

Yes, you'll still need to change to a disc-brake master cylinder. The drum brake version doesn't have enough fluid reserve to properly and safely operate the front discs.
