Ford factory part availability

Post by yellow72f100 »

I am trying to locate two shims for my '72 F-100. Part number is 5355. Is there any chance a Ford dealership would have these?

A factory part number is much longer than that, looks to me like that's just the basic part number, but you'll need a prefix and suffix to go with it. What are the shims for, where do they go?
