Any booster from '68-'79 will bolt right up. If all you're doing is adding a booster to your existing brakes, you don't need to change the master cylinder. Heck, you don't even have to remove it or disconnect the brake lines to install the booster. Just unbolt the MC from the firewall and brake pedal and pull it back away from the firewall enough to gain access to the back. (Careful with those brake lines though.) You won't need the MC pushrod anymore, since the booster will already have it's own, so just disconnect the pushrod from the back and then slip the booster in behind it and bolt it to the firewall. Hook it up to the brake pedal, push the MC into place on the booster and tighten it down, and then run a vacuum line to the intake manifold. That's it...you're done. :D

If you're going junkyarding for a booster, try to get a dual diaphragm unit instead of the single diaphragm...they're just a little better. The dual diaphragm unit is smaller in diameter but thicker than the single diaphragm unit.

Also make sure you get the booster-to-firewall mounting brackets and the vacuum tree off the intake manifold.

What if I want to add power brakes to my 67.. say.. when I convert it to front disks?

When you convert a '67 to power brakes, by far the easiest and less-painful route is to get the brake pedal and mounting bracket assembly from a '68 up. The '67 is different...the pedals pivot pin is mounted closer to the firewall, so none of the junkyard boosters will fit, because the pedal rod will be too long. Of course, you can always shorten it, but it's a lot of work to go through.

I did some research on this a while back and posted some pictures. Read this thread for more info:
