Does any place carry the threaded connection to splice two hardlines together? Advanced doesn't carry them, at least that's what the guy at the counter said. What about NAPA? Anywhere else I might try?
Thanks.

re: brake line question
all you need is a union autozone carys them in the nut &bolt hepl section. but if you are replacing say 10 ft. of line, auto zone carries 1pc 20ft roll. all you have to do ic cut to the length you need, bend to fit and double flare each end with a fitting. when done correctly it is one piece like factory.

re: brake line question
I got a couple of those splices or unions off a friend. These things are going to help alot. I got the passenger side finished, and am about halfway through doing the driver side. It is getting hot here, so I'm taking a break and will go back out this evening once it starts cooling down.
I got a mix of new lines and old. I figured I'd run them all, make sure I like the way it looks, then take it apart and spray brake cleaner down the lines to get things a little cleaner inside.

re: brake line question
I got them all ran, finally. Now I need to take them apart, spray brake cleaner though them, fill it with brake fluid and check for leaks.
Some of my flares came out a little of center, so I'm a little nervous about that causing leaks.
